Leo Ammerlaan started orchid cultivation in 2000 and we have since acquired extensive experience.

In the last few years a change has taken place within the orchid cultivation industry where the majority of this work is now done by specialists. Orchid cultivation requires special climate conditions and specialist skills. For these reasons many growers today are opting to outsource orchid propagation so they can focus on growing and selling plants. 

At Leo Ammerlaan, we select the best medium depending on the requirements and properties of the plant. In our company we use open gaze tables, an arrangement which gives a uniform light fall. In addition we use assimilation lamps to encourage plants to grow uniformly. A high standard of hygiene is as important in plant growing.
